Here it is. The vision I’ve had for years, in real. This studio is everything I ever dreamed of, and more. Finally, I am able to provide clients with the relaxed, stress free, and luxurious experience. A studio where kids can run around, plenty room to get dressed and changed, and just enjoy the time spent there.
The main area branches off to a small vanity area, with two comfortable bathrooms and a washing up area with a mirror, so you can all get ready comfortably between sets.
The feature that gets the most attention from visitors, has got to be ‘The Cupboard’. I don’t know who dubbed it that, but I get stopped on the street by friends of clients, telling me they need to come and see ‘The Cupboard’ 🙂 . These large Ikea units, are home to the massive collection of handpicked, luxury, newborn and baby accessories. Every string of mohair, piece of angora, handpainted bucket or vintage crate, was carefully chosen and purchased to enhance your baby’s session, and ultimately, the images we produce. The guy who helped me out in store in Ikea was advising me to buy doors for my ‘wardrobe’. Do you wonder why I left them there?
And for the larger props, I’ve transformed the kitchenette in to a handy storage area.
Heading upstairs, I have a dedicated space where your orders are carefully assembled, packed and stored until they are collected.
And while this would need a blogpost in itself, I’ll just share one quick peek at my ‘White Room’. A little lifestyle area where babies and toddlers are photographed in a simplistic, natural style.
Finally, my cosy viewing room. The place I spend many hours working on your pictures, and where we sit together to choose your pictures in the most comfortable manner.
