This was fun! A welcome break from a world gone crazy.

There were 94 entries in total. Thank you for the overwhelming response! I picked the winners with the old method of slips of paper in a mixing bowl!

The first winner was a submission with a picture of a cute 3 year old boy I had the honour of taking pictures of just a few months back. I was excited to see his little face, with peyos now! Here’s the image his mother submitted, alongside my edit. (I don’t often convert images to Black and white but this one was ASKING for it 😉 )

The next lucky winner was a little challenge for me. I have never photographed clients on the beach yet (though I do have a tentative beach session booked for this summer! Here’s hoping the crisis settles down and we can do it on time.) and never edited a beach photo before.

The image was entered by the talented lady behind My Biscuit Tin. Check out her amazing work here. I have ordered from her on a few occasions and she has never disappointed me! Look what she created for my daughter’s bas mitzva party here ! And when my studio expanded and moved to new premises, a lovely client ordered these from here and gifted them to me.

Here’s her edit!

And the final winner caught me by surprise and made me so happy! The unbelievable Ruchie from Monsey. I’m so happy that I received submissions from a bunch of photographers too. Here’s the image she submitted, and my edit. I just want to say, from a photography point of view, this is a perfect SOOC (Straight out of camera) image. While the edit seems drastic, no real details have been changed, only enhanced. The edit was so simple to execute, thanks to the sharpness, high quality and perfect lighting.

I miss you Ruchie!

Winners, send me an email with your delivery address and watch the post for your free 8×10 print!

Well done!

New contest coming on the blog later tonight. Watch this space, and keep safe 🙂
